iPhoning your Help Desk

zendesk-iphone.jpgAs already announced on our blog, help desk agents can now perform basic ticket operations in a iPhone optimized user interface. There's no special address or anything, simply point your iPhone Safari browser to your regular Zendesk account address, and you will be presented for the optimized interface. 

Via the iPhone interface you can access your ticket views, read tickets and ticket event logs, and perform basic ticket tasks such as providing a comment update, changing status and reassigning.

If you have an iPhone or an iPod Touch we encourage you to try it out see how it work. We welcome any feedback we can get.

When the new iPhone push API will be released you can also expect a dedicated iPhone application that keeps track of new and unassigned tickets, and provides you with direct access to your help desk. Stay tuned.
