In reference to the date on tickets, can this be configured to display in a non-US format?

Most of our customers are English and European - the current display of the date format is confusing.

I would prefer either:
ISO date format, ie 2008-08-07
UK date format, ie: 07-08-2008 or 7 Aug 2008

...even better if it is there are a number of config options. :-)
