Please strip e-mail signatures

I train all of my clients to use the standard e-mail signature separator sequence (i.e., "-- " ) so that well behaving mail clients can strip out all of the garbage during replies, etc. It would be an absolute godsend to have Zendesk strip that out for tickets created via e-mail. Most of the tickets I receive have a signature longer than the ticket description. Ugh.

Good old "-- " :-) People have been debating its justification and value for 8 years here https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58406 without getting any further. I'll see what we can do.

Could you please paste in the signature separator you see? Some pattern that can be used to see that "here's the signature". We could ofc. make it a configurable option.
Making it configurable would probably make everyone happy, but the standard Internet address separator is two hyphens followed by a space and a carriage return.
