Fixed Stuff

  • We found that on the /home page, the listing of forums was sometimes getting loaded in twice, causing it to seemingly take longer for forums to display. This is now resolved.
  • Forum moderators were unable to see a new Forum Analytics feature we launched a couple of weeks ago. This wasn't the intention and they can now see this information.
  • We also found some cases where the Forum Analytics feature would cause errors for some customers, which should no longer be the case.

Security Update

  • Zendesk was recently made aware of a vulnerability where in rare circumstances, a user could gain unauthorized access. This issue affected one customer. As a result, we have updated Zendesk to eliminate this possibility from occurring. For additional security, we recommend as a best practice that all customers enable SSL for their Zendesk.

Does the Android app work for accounts that are using SSO?  I can't get logged in via the app and I suspect the SSO is why.

Brian, no, it currently won't work with SSO.  You'll need to make sure your user profile in Zendesk has a password associated with it.

Clarification, SSO simply won't authenticate you, having SSO configured doesn't stop you from using the android/iPhone app, you just have to have a password setup as well!
