Our API change policy

API change policy

Zendesk reserves the right to add any new attribute or resource to the API without advance notice. Breaking changes such as removing or renaming an attribute may happen on an existing version of the API with two weeks notice. Major structural changes will only happen in context of a version update.

Developers can stay informed of API changes by:

  1. subscribing to this forum via email by visiting the forum landing page and clicking the subscribe link in the upper right hand corner. 
  2. subscribing to this forum via RSS.
  3. subscribing to the Zendesk API Google Group.
