Additional message in Login screen

Some of our users are confused about the login screen and try to enter their own user account from our application into it. I'd like to add additional warning on top of that page explaining that their Zendesk support accounts are not the same as for our application. For various reasons, we can't link them to Zendesk at the moment.

Custom html widgets I see are only visible on page that's not login page. I think I could create a hack using site-wide Javascript widget, but I'm wondering if there's an easier way?

You can use custom html widgets on the login page as well, you just have to create the widget, assume the identity of an anonamous user, navigate to the login page, then add the widget.

Unfortunately, the widget is on the far right side of the screen and the log in is on the far left side of the screen.  I'd like to also be able to do something similar to what Jure is proposing, I want to use the login page as a landing page for non registered users and gives a short description of the site.  Right now, I have a forum that is viewable by everyone, and I post my welcome text there and pin it to the homepage.  Unfortunately, my logged in users also see these posts, and its a bit confusing.

I'd like to know if there is a way to:

a) Create content that is only viewable to non-logged in users (outside of the widget) that I can use on the homepage

b) Add text to the empty area to the right of the login form, or just above it.

I would like to do this, also. We use Google as the authentication mechanism and people are constantly trying to use the username and password boxes instead of the "Sign in with Google" button. I wish I could disable the username and password box entirely as well as put a message explaining what to do.

I'd love to do this, too.

If there's a site-wide Javascript widget template, I'd be great if someone could share it.

Zendesk support desk kindly showed me the java script code to show additional message in Login screes,

so I'd like to share it here.

It's a java script widget. The code is below

$j("<div id=\"temp_text_after_login_title\"><p>This is an example from Zendesk to enter text after the title of your page</p></div>").insertAfter("h2:contains(Login to Pumping Iron Inc.)");

However you need to replace the part where it says "Login to Pumping Iron Inc." with the exact title of what it says on your login page. What this script does is putting the text that is inside the paragraph tags right after the login page title.
