Calling common jQuery functions within Lotus App: how?

Hi

I am trying to call a common jQuery function jquery.trim(str), but I have tried:

  1. jquery.trim() and JSHint will not allow it because "'jquery' is not defined"
  2. this.trim() and Lotus App fails with "this.trim is not a function"

Thanks for your assistance

Hi

Any feedback to this question?

I temporarily resolved my issue by defining my own "trim()" within app.js, and I would have preferred to used jquery.trim().

Thanks for your assistance

I'm glad you've got it working :)

Eventually we'll add some standard helper functions to the framework. Trim is a perfect candidate.
