Is there a way to Get all new tickets or comments submited by users?

I am look for an automated way to get all the newly created tickets and all new comments on any thicket.  For example I would like to get a feed of all ticket ids that have any new activity ("new ticket", or “new comment by user or admin") from 9/1/2009 to 9/2/2009 on any ticket new, closed, pending…  I am looking for this because I would like to be able to log this information in our customer communication database and I don’t want to pull down massive amounts of data which will take me huge amount of time to go through to see if there are any new changes which need to be logged.

I would also like to monitor all comments and tickets, how can this be accomplished?

If you're looking for a way to search back in the past for all tickets that had any updates within a certain time range, we don't have the ability to do that.

If you would like to just monitor any ticket updates, you can use our incremental export API:

You can poll Zendesk periodically to get a list of all tickets that have changed.  This API functions like our CSV export in terms of the data that it returns.
