    Hallo, kleine Frage. Wir möchten gerne einen Pre-Chat-Gruss in mehreren Sprachen (je nach Browser) anzeigen lassen. Wie können hier dynamische Inhalte wie bei Support eingefügt werden? Danke im Voraus für eine kurze Rückmeldung.

    It is not possible to use dynamic content to translate the pre-chat greeting. But, you can use the prechatForm API within the embedded widget script on your website to set the main pre-chat greeting, and translations for other languages.

    You can see more detail on how to do that here: https://developer.zendesk.com/embeddables/docs/widget/settings#prechatform I'm sorry I wasn't able to find a German version of that document but I hope that helps!

    Here are the different language codes you can use to tell the widget which language each version of the pre-chat-greetings is associated with: Sprachcodes für die von Zendesk unterstützten Sprachen.

    Once you get this all set up, when your customer navigates to your website, the widget will identify which language to offer them based on the language set in their browser. The rest of the pre-chat form will automatically translate. Then, the widget will check to see if you have a specific translation set up in the script code for that language. If you do, it will offer them the translated version. If you don't it will offer them the fallback option you specified with the asterisk (*).
