Reset reporting data?

    Hi Kevin

    If you are working on the professionel or enterprise version, then you can delete all you tickets and most of the reports in Insights will disregard them. Basically a clean slate.

    Unfortunatly there is no way of resetting your zendesk and start over - The only way you can do that is to create a new zendesk instance and setting it up for production...

    We are in the same situation as Kevin. We have been testing and all our stats will be affected by our two-month testing. I deleted all of our test tickets but the stats do not reset. 

    I suggest Zendesk adds a flag that allows for a testing environment versus production. When the system is set for production, clear all tickets, reset all stats and restart all counters.

    I would like to echo Sergio's comment, 

    With now going live we will not really see true stats on our reporting tool as it will be offset against a months testing period where we weren't responding to tickets at all more so trying to understand the system. Currently sitting at 40+ hours first response time.

    This is quite a flaw, it will take months to begin seeing a true response time, AHT etc .. simply because there is not a reset button for the Administration / Owner.

     

    This is something customers should be made aware at very early on so they know not to switch on channels as its recording text mails against real ones.

    You can make reports/ insights that have a timeline in which you can add a start date. It will then report data from that date forward. Add Filter> Date> Date> Event> Apply then chose your dates
