Error saving user: Email: **** is already being used by another user

    I checked in on the user today. Both are coming up in the search, and I was able to successfully merge the two,  No clue what was wrong, nor what fixed it, but it is fixed.

    I have the same issue, I will describe it in more detail.


    My customer used to place an order, however, she used another email ( to contact our supports, ticket #1319. Hence, we want to change the requester to and Cc to I clicked "Change" then added the email as the requester, and add another user to Cc field with the original and name of

    Then the error message appeared: Email is already being used by another user.

    When I tried to search with email, the result showed ticket #1319 and no user.


    May I know how to fix it?

    @Hoangtungduy, it sounds like you are adding a new user when adding the email in copy.

    Can you try to type the email address in the CC field directly and search for the existing user email address?

    Please kindly make sure to not click '+ Add new User'. Let us know how it goes!
