    Hi Fredrik, 

    Your Zendesk Talk account is in fact located in the same data center (or Pod) as your Support account. 

    For Talk we do use Twilio as our service provider which may be what you are referring to.  They do have data centers for call routing located around the world which we do use as it delivers lower latency but at this time Twilio only supports the hosting of call recordings in the US. As they expand their capabilities in this area we will work to match them.

    Please note that GDPR's purpose is to govern and authorize cross border transfers of personal data (such as from the EU to the US). The GDPR does not prohibit the transfer of data outside of the EU.
