Examples of sites using Zendesk as their primary Knowledge Base
AngeheftetI'd love to see some examples of sites using Zendesk as their primary knowledge base. I'm looking for some inspiration for how well ZD can be integrated into the overall look, feel, and branding of an enterprise site, from a knowledge base perspective.
Anyone aware of any great examples? The more customized and branded, the better.

Update. I"ve seen a number of sites that use ZD as their primary KB. They work fine functionally, but they all have that default "Zendesk" look and feel:
- https://zoosk.zendesk.com/home
Maybe what I'm looking for is effective use of ZD widgets on a support homepage...

#moonstar, awesome! Thanks.

Hi guys,
I also found some great examples here:
Podio: https://help.podio.com/home
Pagemodo: https://pagemodo.zendesk.com/forums
Tv2 https://kundeservice.tv2.dk/home
Pinterest: https://pinterest.zendesk.com/home

Thanks, Laura!
Here are some that I like:

Hi,
Is it possible to customise the agent view in Zendesk and would anybody have a screenshot to show?
-
Hi Colm. Currently, the agent interface cannot be customised. :(
There's already a feature request for this in our feature request forums which you can see here:

Thanks!

Any examples with the new designs? I'm looking for examples with the Humble Squid.

We also have a list of customized end-users sites on Pinterest - it's a mix of Web Portals and Help Centers (including Amilia :)

Woohoo!! Thanks for the link guys!

Thank you!

Hey Guys - Just thought I'd add to this and post our Help Center that we've customised. Hopefully it serves some inspiration for those looking to see what is possible.
We hope to have it up and running in a few weeks so it may see some slight changes.

Looks cool Jonathan - very Podio inspired (https://help.podio.com/hc/en-us) but nice and simple :) We are looking to do something similar soon.
-
Good stuff, Jonathan!
-
@Looks good Jonathan and its responsive : -) The Podio site is not responsive as I had to do alot of scrolling from a tablet.
-
We're about 99% complete now - I decided to add some personality.

Thanks for these sample sites. ^_^ Great inspiration for ours. We're looking forward to redesigning our zendesk soon, too. (http://support.brillkids.com)

Hello all!
We started with https://support.smartbidnet.com, then moved to Enterprise and have 3 other brands we are working on. One other we just got up is https://support.smartcomplianceinc.com and are adding content to it.
We have two other products that we are working on as well that should be live soon. Thanks Zendesk !

Hello all!
We are kind of interested on how these teams were able to edit their Community page. For example,
https://help.podio.com/hc/communities/public/topics
Can you please shed some light on this? As we can' see the Community from the Edit Theme options.
-
@Roger - You can edit the community with CSS and JavaScript. The link you referenced above appears they did most of the customization via CSS. Zendesk is currently working on adding the Community from the Edit Theme options
-
Here is an example of zendesk integrated into the forum and support system.

Hi Roger!
To add to Wes's response, the customer you referenced above is actually still using our old platform, the Web Portal. All customization in the Web Portal is achieved through CSS, and because the Help Center is built completely differently, the process of customization is different as well.
This particular Web Portal isn't actually that much different from the default layout of the Web Portal. They changed the color scheme and added some buttons, but the layout is essentially the default.
Hope that clears things up!

And here's a direct link to cex.io's Help Center: https://support.cex.io/hc/en-us
You can see how they were able to customize it to coordinate nicely with their primary website.

@mark, @jessie
Really nice job on CES IX. Do either of you know if that was done in house or with a consultant? If consultant, who?
-
@Adam - I can tell you that alot of work was put in creating that HelpCenter. There is tons of custom Jquery/JavaScript and CSS in there by the looks of things. Great job @Mark.
-
@Wes yes I know... I'm very impressed. I know how much work we put into our heavily customized HC support site (http://support.lytro.com) and CES IX is, I have to say, a cut above... Interested in knowing who did it!
Currently, I'm really embarrassed for our form landing page and look/feel which is pure stock HC. Quite into what CES IX has done.
-
@Adam - I'm sure I could replicate some of it but just don't have the time as I'm working on another HelpCenter at this time. You can do alot through the API by pulling in categories, sections, and articles and sticking them into an array and calling in on a page but I think the CES IX customization is the most I've seen on any HelpCenter and I've seen and built alot of them. They did a great job.

Thank you everyone!
We will look into this possibilities and may be, will have some further questions again as we have some problems with our layout with the community while doing it on our sandbox site.
