Integrating Zendesk (or any other app for that matter) with on-premise apps typically requires expensive, on-premise integration software like Enterprise Service Bus. Luckily you can bypass this need by using CSV files and an integration service that has extensive support for CSV file automation as long as the on-premise app supports CSV import and export.
Jira and Microsoft SCCM are two of the apps popular in the Zendesk community that can be integrated in this manner.
