Average number of tickets created per day over the last 12 months

    Hi Kay, thanks for the questions

    I'd recommend using the Tickets Dataset, with the Metric (Tickets Created - Daily Average). You will then want to use the 'Trend line' option on the bottom of your Metrics window and add the First Reply Time as a trend line. If you have not already done so, you would want to select the 'Visualization Type' option from the right hand side of the Query Editor and ensure 'Columns' is selected.

    Under Columns select 'Ticket Created - Day of Week'

    You mentioned you are only getting the total count. I am unsure what metric you are using but I suspect this is the roadblock.

    Thanks for your response.

    Using that dataset already. Maybe I am overlooking something.
    In the metrics list/search I don't see a metric 'Ticket Created - Daily Average'.

    Strange! Here's a screenshot from my end, can you confirm whether this matches your experience?

     

     

    If this does not match, I would appreciate a screenshot from your end as well so we may work to rectify the discrepancy.

    My 'Tickets Created - Daily Average' was found under 'Time Range' rather than 'Tickets' so this could be the same for the Kay.

    Hi Kay,

    Are you able to see it if you create a new query with no filters or columns on it?

    It seems odd that you don't have this.

    I wonder if it could be down to something as silly as your package - is it only available in Enterprise?

    I checked, we are on Enterprise.

    Also tried creating a new query, still not showing.
