Removing "zopim chat" from the widget

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for posting your feedback regarding the branding on the widget. We understand that not all businesses want the logo on the widget and last year we made it a feature of the Premium package.

    We may look into changing our paid packages to offer it on lower packages, but there are no immediate plans in doing so. The same branding policy is true if you use the Zendesk Web Widget and the Zendesk branding.

    Hello Ramin,

    Thank you for the quick response. When automobile dealers sell you a car, at the minimum they put their license plate frame on your vehicle if not their emblem on your car. That's the first thing to come off when I buy a vehicle.

    It's wrong to be forced to advertise for a product you're paying for. Flat out wrong and poor business practice. I'm still actively looking for another product.

    No problem and I understand your viewpoint (will share it with the marketing team also).

    I did check some of our direct competitors and they also require you to be on a higher paid package to remove the branding or unlock the full widget editor. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a service to point you in the right direction.
