    Unfortunately we had to remove the Help Center functionality from this initial EAP but we are wanting to have this available in an upcoming release.

    @Allen @David - 

    Not sure if anyone has noticed the "Status Embed" option that StatusPage.io recently released, but that adds additional functionality to utilize a modal window when there is an event on your company's Status Page.

    There is also a helpful article here if you want to add a simple indicator to your Help Center in the meantime.

    @Jeremy - Nice! I recall seeing something sent by 'Shannon from statuspage'; about this. But didn't dig deeper. Thanks for the heads up. We will be using this!

    Hi David,

     

    Thanks for sharing this news!! I think this is great, and actually mirrors something we were looking at implementing before Statuspage provided their widget code, but I do like the option to add as an asset, and cut down the amount of extraneous code that is being pumped into our help center while creating the look and feel we are after.

    Hi there, 

    I would love to put our status page in our help site when we are experiencing an outage/disruption to our service and I like the idea of having a pop-up when a user visits the help site.

     

    We do not have Atlassian for the service status, rather status.io

    Would we have to use the custom code and implement in the theme to get it to work? Or is there an easier way?

    Hi Allison,

    We reviewed status.io when looking at services as well. You would need to custom code it, and because of that, we went with statuspage.io because it was easier to integrate into Zendesk (even before this snippet was available). While the custom coding is always doable, relying on custom code can be cumbersome maintenance for many orgs.

    You can get, from a few other posts in the Community, the main outline for custom coding it then inputting what is needed for your status.io information.

    Gotcha, thank you Jeremy! This integration is super simple to add, so it would be nice to have Atlassian for a simple integration.
