Make data entered in custom fields searchable for end users

    You could use a macro and placeholders to update the ticket to add the invoice ID into the subject line as you are working on the ticket.  

    Add an action for Set Subject: 

    {{ticket.ticket_field_####}} - {{ticket.title}}

    Replace the #### with the ticket ID number for your invoice field.  This should allow you to replace the current subject with an Invoice - Subject Line breakout. 

    You can potentially automate this by looking at the steps outlined here and using the same concepts.
