    Hi Amy,

    We don't use user segments to handle this but we do use tags for it. We have a check box on the Zendesk account for "submit tickets" and when that is checked, it adds a tag to the user. We then use that tag to control who can see the Submit a request link in the Help Center. That part is done through the page code but is pretty straightforward if I remember correctly.

    Hi Maggie,

    I think I figured this out last night, but I do still need to test. I do use User Tags and some Javascript. The JS hides the submit link initially, and then shows it only if a user tag if found. 

    Does your solution include any JS? Maybe yours is simpler.

    Hi Amy,

    No, we aren't using JS. It has a simple front end for us to manage but that created a more complex back end. I was only remembering the front end that makes it easy:)
