Show/hide help center element (hyperlink)
BeantwortetHi Community!
I'm somewhat of a novice at html/css, but can perform simple customizations of our help center. However, this one eludes me and the couple of articles I found were a little confusing. So, I beg for your assistance!
I know how place & customize hyperlinks to an external website on the home page of our HC. What I want to do, but cannot figure out how, is to make a specific link visible only for members of certain organizations.
The exact use case is this: When the HC is accessed, I want the link to the external site visible only to members of the "Supervisors/Managers" and "Tech Systems" orgs. No users belonging to other orgs should see this external link.
Any assistance (at the hand-holding level) would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi John,
Thanks for reaching out!
My first thought here would have been to use custom templates and conditional rendering to display the content based on organization but unfortunately, organization data is not available within the user object.
Because of that, the best way to go maybe using User Segments. It won’t allow you to conditionally render just an HTML link but as a workaround, you can create an article that contains the link and have that article conditionally displayed based on if the user belongs to a User Segment that you’ve specified.
Here’s some more information on User Segments:

I hope this helps! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
