Additional filtering for Guide in Explore

I agree with this feedback as well. Filtering by Last edited date would be a very useful attribute to be able to pull into Explore.

Thanks for your feedback Shawn Walters and Ryan Boyer,

I'd like to learn more about your request. Are you interested in a list of articles and their last_edited timestamp? Or would you rather see the last_edited attribute in the filters where you can i.e. filter on articles which were last edited in a particular time frame? The better I understand your preferences the more likely I can help :)

    Cheers!

    Hello Orsolya Forster

Thank you for the follow up! My hope to was to have a 'last edited' attribute within Explore. The goal would be to create regular reports and/or dashboards for internal groups to see a list of documents under their ownership that have exceeded an internally set threshold for age since last reviewed.

    Thanks!

    Hi, Orsolya,

Thanks for the followup. If I'm understanding correctly, in an ideal world, we would want to have both available in the Guide: Knowledge Base dataset.

It should work the same as the Time - Article created attribute (row) and filter. See images below in Explore for examples.

Thank you for the clarification. I'll mark your comments as new feature requests, so we can consider them for future dataset improvement.

    Cheers!

Orsolya Forster Was this filter option ever added as a feature?

Christian Zamora, no the requested attribute is not yet on our roadmap. I will update the thread once I can confirm that we prioritised it.

    Cheers!

I would agree with the 'Last Edited Date' field. If an article was created 5 years ago, but it was edited just 3 months ago, the article is likely relevant and up to date. This is important to maintain quality control of articles that are being consumed by end users and the answer bot.

The date created doesnt quite do the trick. The last edited date, or the most recent published date is what would assure quality control. Making sure the article is up to date, current, relevant, and accurate.
