What is the purpose or meaning of the default Dashboard time filter reflecting created/solved?

I was told to file a "feature request" about this when I reported it, you're completely right, this prebuilt Dashboard is misleading and returns incorrect data and makes it look like you can report in ways that simply are not possible in Explore.

There's another part to this that I think will help explain how it *can* work to have a time filter with multiple measurements, and apply those selectively to the reports on the Dashboard. You can exclude time filters from specific queries on Dashboards. This means you can have a Time Filter that can do both "Tickets Created" and "Tickets Solved" for the date range it is set to, but only apply one, or the other, or both to the individual reports on the Tab, by excluding specific time metrics from being applied to specific reports.
