Change of behaviour: search default sort after clicking a header is asc and used to be desc
Hi all,
There was a change a few weeks ago in search results UI behavior. After clicking the headers, it added to the search line the following:
"order_by:created_at sort:asc"
But in the past, it used to add:order_by:created_at sort:desc
Can you please change it back to how it was, or support this request as a possible stronger feature: https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4520217557018-Default-sort-for-search-results?input_string=Change%20of%20behaviour%20-%20search%20default%20sort

Hi Rom Hirsh,
Thank you for posting this. We recently made a change to the table which had this unintended change. We are currently working to bring the previous default order of sorting back. I will update this post again when it has been fixed.

Thanks Salvador Vazquez! I and my team greatly appreciate the update - we hope to see this resolved soon.

It's been more than a month since the issue occurred. It slows down the work and is just really irritating. When is it going to be fixed?

Hey everyone, thanks for checking back in! I reached out to the PM in charge of this functionality and they informed me that the issue is a bit more complex than they initially thought. This is still actively being investigated and I'll be sure to share an update once we have more information to provide.
Thanks again for bringing this to our attention and appreciate your patience :)

I understand that there has been a recent change in the default sorting behavior when searching after clicking a header. Previously, the default sorting was descending, but now it seems to have changed to ascending.
It's essential to keep users informed of any changes in the app's functionality to avoid confusion and ensure a positive user experience. You can consider making a post or notification to let your users know about the change and how it might affect their search results.
In the post or notification, you can explain the reason for the change and highlight any benefits or drawbacks it may have for users. Additionally, you can provide instructions on how to change the sorting order manually if they prefer to use a different sorting method.
It's also a good idea to gather user feedback on the new default sorting behavior to understand how it's affecting their experience and identify any potential issues or concerns. This feedback can help you make any necessary adjustments and improve the user experience over time.
Overall, clear communication and transparency are key when making changes to app functionality. By keeping your users informed and open to feedback, you can ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone using your app. do not click it https://ghdsports.top/
