Hi Dermot, I hope you're doing great!

In Gather dashboard in Explore, there are 3 key metrics:

    • Community post: This will render you all the new posts in your Community forum
    • Post views: This refers to number of views of all community posted in your forum.
    • Post votes: Number of all votes consisting upvotes and downvotes.

If you're referring to post view, you're correct. If a customer viewed that specific community post, it will be added in the post view section. You can find more information in this article for your reference.

    Thank you, Darenne!

Are these unique views?  For example, if a member reads the post ten times, is that ten views or one view?

    Kind Regards,

    Dermot

Hi again Dermont! Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I just checked the Post view calculation outlined here.

    IF ([guide_community_engagement_event_type] = "Post viewed") THEN [guide_community_engagement_community_post_id]

It is calculating the event not the ID of the viewer. Hence, if the same person with the same email address viewed the article 10 times, it would mean 10 views too.
