Adding alert banner to messenger widget

    Hi Lyle Murray,
    As of the moment, adding an alert banner to the Messenger or Chat widget is not yet supported. I encourage you to create a new post in the General Product Feedback topic in our community to engage with other users who have similar needs and discuss possible workarounds. Conversations with a high level of engagement ultimately get flagged for product managers to review when they go through roadmap planning.

    This would be helpful for my team. We are looking to consolidate our help centers and just use Zendesk. One of the features we enjoy using is the ability to provide in-app notifications to our users for our upgrades with the Intercom chat bubble. Their bubble widget has the ability to give a pop-up for release notifications. This is a valuable way for us to notify users without sending a mass email. Our users do not regularly login to our help desk, so a banner across the support desk would not be sufficient.
