Howard Fischer No solution yet that I've noticed! To be clear, Community Moderators are just users like yourself.

No worries at all, just taking the opportunity to clarify.

Hi Daniel, to be clear, Community Moderators (like me) are not ZD employees, just experienced users who help out when we can, but have no inside info about product roadmaps.

Hi Phil, there is a "Multi-line" field type which allows entering either wrapping or Shift+Enter newline multiple lines. It initially displays as 2 lines, then expands as needed. Does that work for you?

Hi Michael, I don't know what the maximum is but it is certainly more than 3 weeks (we have some automations with a 3 month threshold).
That said, I think the timing threshold question would be moot, because I don't think that you can run an automation on a closed ticket, because closed tickets can't be modified, and all automations must do something that removes the triggering condition (or else they would run forever once triggered.) But maybe there's a nuance that I'm missing.
[EDIT: I originally asked about the auto-translate of your question, but I see that it was in English.]

I would not want to attempt a black-box analysis on ZD's internal processes, but this is indeed a long-standing (9 years with us) source of friction and pain, and this workaround is really not an acceptable solution.

Great, thanks for clarifying, @...
- And as many of you have suggested, having the Default filter option be set to Active.
Perfect.

We will most likely remove the tabs & display all in the same list with a Status column.
Agree with the others. This sounds like a horror show unless the default is to have them hidden. I can see some logic to wanting to be able to see them in their original sequence, given how order-sensitive triggers are, but only rarely and only on explicit request.

It is frustrating; this does seem like a fundamental gap in functionality.
I think you know this already, Kieran, but for the record -- just because an issue has been open a long time doesn't mean that it will percolate to the top and be implemented. There will always be more plausible features wanted by some people than are feasible to implement.
This fix seems like a logical no-brainer, but that might just be my own stake in it!

Macro “top 5” works pretty well most of the time. What would make it SO much nicer is for this to continue working after one starts typing text in the filter / search field.
I.e. it would show the top 5 macros which fit the text filter. THAT would be a game changer.
As it is now, it is a bit frustrating. I know that the macro I'm looking for is frequently used, it just doesn't quite make the top 5 cut. So I start typing some filter / search text, and all of a sudden the macro list shows every macro in creation, whether it's been used recently or not. I end up having to type much more than expected, to find it.
Our workaround is to give macros names that include quirky little unique reminder text, but surely that's not the intention? :)
