Another +1. I'm actually very surprised to see that this is not already an option and seems like a huge oversight.

3. Preserve Group and Assignee for user-generated follow-up tickets

I agree with the above and I'm very surprised that the follow-ups do not inherit the previous tickets group and assignment by default
