Dashboards should not always be in edit mode

When I've created a dashboard it seems to always be in edit mode.

See the link above. Navigation and viewing gets pretty tedious when these buttons pop up whenever you click on something. The filter list also makes it really hard to navigate the settings, which gets hidden by the filter list.

I would like it to work like in Insights, i.e. you have to choose 'Edit' to make the dashboard go into edit mode. The dashboards made by Zendesk are way easier to navigate, since they seem to be read-only.
