Hi Miranda, 

I don't think you understood the question. I am talking about Zendesk Support Messaging Window (Zendesk account Admin center) - your own support widget, NOT your user's accounts widgets. So the widget I use to contact YOUR support. There is no way to enable sound. So I assume Zendesk has not activated it on his end, Are there plans to do it? Asking this because every time one of your agents replies, there is no sound alert, which is quite annoying.

So resuming, since the ability to enable sound exists,  why it is not enabled on Zendesk Support Messaging Window?

I spent hours with your agent, but he didn't help at all, he doesn't seem to understand that I am talking about the messaging window of Zendesk support. He thinks that I am talking about our account, which is not the case, as we don't use messaging.

I don't think you understood the question.

If it is now supported, why don't you enable it on your own support messaging window? There is no option to enable it on the end user side.

when contacting zendesk support, there is no sound notification when an agent replies, or any way to activate it. Am I the only one who finds this odd?

So, if there is that possibility when contacting zendesk support via messaging, how can we receive a sound notification when a zendesk support agent replies? I don't see any option to enable sound on the window. Probably you need to activate it on your account.

The last message indicates that the issue has been solved, however, when you contact Zendesk via messaging there is still no possibility to enable the sound notification to be alerted when an agent replies

It does not make sense to leave the field blank, you either show it or not!

At least an option, to choose to see, archived or unpublished articles on the list
