Post Developer - Zendesk APIs

I want to enable IP restriction to improve the instance security - but I've hit a roadblock…

Slack does not support static IP on their outgoing IP ranges (nor do other apps that rely on AWS) . This means i'm not able to enable the restriction without severely impacting integrations and connections. 
 

Two options are to: 
1. Split the ip restriction for API and UI
2. Allow specific endpoints to be excluded from the restriction

Has anyone found a way around this? a proxy will not help as i am using slack native Zendesk integration in wrokflows

This is not a good enough work around - as on top of the status change it also enforces an SLA change. 

 

It would have been much better if you would have supported the “x-ms-reactions: disallow” tag in your outgoing emails or offer another solution to better handle these

Hi all,

There was a change a few weeks ago in search results UI behavior. After clicking the headers, it added to the search line the following:

"order_by:created_at sort:asc"

But in the past, it used to add:order_by:created_at sort:desc

I tried these as well but still, I cannot get HTML to render while updating the ticket via HTML. The use of the linked tickets app is not good for me as it required much manual work and I am trying to automate this. 

Any other suggestions?

I have been attempting to copy the comment text (last comment) from one ticket and create another. It's working fine except for the formatting of the comment. I seem to be losing HTML tags and content while calling the new ticket API request.

I tried to structure the 'html_body' using {{ticket.latest_comment_formatted}} as well as with DC like:

{% for comment in ticket.comments limit:1 offset:0 %}
{{comment.value_rich}}
{% for attachment in comment.attachments %}
{{attachment.filename}}
{{attachment.url}}
{% endfor %}
{% endfor %}

But I am losing the original comment formatting in the process - has anyone been able to copy the last comment with formatting and attachments over API?
