We previously used an app called DOUBLE CHECK FILE NAME & CCs, which provided a confirmation box showing attachment names before sending emails to clients. However, this app no longer appears to be active on Zendesk. Could you please suggest the best alternative app that meets our requirements?

We would like to disable the ticket suspension specifically for the "Email Authentication failure" reason. Is there a way to achieve this?

Hi Ashwin,
"Yes, we have de-activated all the custom fields (Lookup) that we previously added. Currently, we can only see 2 lookup fields in the list. However, it's unclear why the system is not permitting us to add new ones."

We are currently experiencing difficulties in adding new lookup fields due to an error message indicating that we have reached the maximum limit of 10 lookup relationship fields. While we had previously added some lookup fields for testing purposes, these have since been removed, leaving us with only two lookup fields. Despite this, the system is still not allowing us to add new lookup fields

Please below my response for your questions:
Do you often find that you're running out of storage space? - This is first time we are getting a notification from Zendesk that we exceed our storage limit.
Would it be useful to have different storage rules for different types of attachments or specific channels, groups etc? - We haven't configured any rules for the attachment or the group
What impact does the deletion of attachments have on your internal workflow or the service provided to your user? - No impact, we can delete the old ticket attachments
What solutions have you tried in the past to manage your storage needs? - planning to redact the attachments from all the old tickets.
Can you confirm on the below questions:
1. Do closed tickets occupy storage space in our subscription?
2. How can we bulk delete old tickets with a closed status?
3. Do we have the option to bulk delete tickets from our admin or owner account, or do we need to contact the Support team to do that?

Hi Max,
Under the "View > All tickets" section, we can observe 24.4k tickets. However, when exporting the ticket report (Account>Tools>Report), it appears that there are 87k tickets in total. It's important to note that closed tickets do not appear in the "All tickets" tab. To address our storage concerns, we are planning to clear out old tickets from the years 2017 and 2018. This should help free up some space in our subscription. Please help us in how to do that?

If feasible, could you please provide any helpful articles related to the Zendesk API to fulfill our requirement?
Additionally, we would like to confirm whether using the "Redact" option to remove attachments from tickets will also free up storage space on our Zendesk account. We are currently facing a shortage of storage space and plan to delete attachments to recover some space while retaining the ticket data.

Will the content be permanently deleted from the ticket when using the "Redact" option? We are currently facing space issues with our Zendesk subscription, and our intention is to delete only attachments from tickets for a certain period of time. Could you clarify whether using the "Redact" option will also free up storage space?
