Post Feedback - Help Center (Guide)

I came across a banner on a website today that I believe would be a great addition to Zendesk Guide's default (Copenhagen) Help Center theme. See attachment.

 

Here are the requested capabilities:

 

1. The ability to easily draft and publish notification banners in the Help Center, including options to pick an icon and background color.
2. The ability to configure and save multiple banners for later use, or have many active at once with adjustable transition times between them.
3. A publish/unpublish date picker functionality to allow for automated holiday banners.

After recent changes to your menus, it's now much easier to add a logo to trigger notifications. I could copy and paste the logo from our website into the message body. I clicked on the HTML editor, and it looks like Zendesk adds most of it for you now.  I wish it was easier to resize images for people who don't know HTML, but still a big improvement.

Hello,

 

We prefer asking users to sign in for content access, but it seems that this would prevent us from embedding the web widget within our webapp.

 

Just to clarify: if we require our end users to log in to the Help Center before viewing content, then the web widget won't display for end users where it's embedded. Correct?

 

Are end users able log in to the Help Center from the website widget interface to access the content?

Hello,

Thank you for the great resource to download these icons. I noticed that there seems to be a bug in my guide manager where the original badge SVG file is deleted when the badge title or description is edited and saved.

I raised this issue in a support ticket previously and they directed me here, but want to ensure the community and your product teams know about this and are looking into it.

I come here and download the original files to upload each time I make changes, but it's time-consuming and some users may not notice this at first and have blank badges in their community.

Community-Kommentar Feedback - Ticketing system (Support)

Hello,

 

Curious if there has been progress on adding the Epic field to the Zendesk / Jira integration. It would save our team from needing to click in and set the field after creating the issue from the ZD interface.
