I want to add Text to my existing Zendesk Talk number. How can I enable this feature?
Answer
If this number is SMS capable, you can enable it for Zendesk Text. The account owner can enable Talk numbers for Text by following the steps below.
- Navigate to Admin icon (
) > Channels > Talk > Numbers tab. - Select the number you'd like to enable for Text.
- Click the gear icon and toggle Enable for Text.

If the account owner can't follow these steps, contact the Zendesk support team for further help.
