    Hello,

It would be nice in a way to remove the text associated to the column if we decide to display only the value.

I don't know if it is a good practice, but this iw what you do in the report samples you provide (and I would want to know how to do it :-) )

    Hi Jonathan!

Can you tell me which examples you're referring to? That'll help me figure out what's possible for you. :)

    Hi Jessie,

You can see these samples in Insights > Insights - view only > Overview tab

For example, you can see the number of ticket created in the last 30 days

With the number, there is no text

    For example :

Thanks for the article, I was wondering how do I remove the value field as it has no data but eats up space. In our case, we can't put any metrics (the What column I assume) in the particular report because I want it to display tickets with its details in 1 line after the other.

Respectfully, the response doesn't make sense:

"The metric also serves the purpose of tying the attributes' values together; without any metrics, the system would try to connect the attributes in every way possible, which can easily throw the report out of the limits."

The list of results is limited based on the filter criteria; in what way would the system attempt to connect the attributes in every way possible? There are legitimate cases where, as the others including the original submitter has noted, you don't need a metric, just the list of filtered issues. This would be very helpful in maximizing the limited real estate provided.

    Thanks, Ben

    Hi James,

Sorry, but there is now way to remove the Values column where the metric values should have been displayed. Insights reports are especially made to pull data from the selected metrics. If you want to get all the ticket data and information, you can check out the available export options from this article: Exporting data to JSON,CSV or XML (with these options, you cannot manually select which information to export; you may have to edit the output export files).

    Hope this helps. Thanks James!

The reason that why people are getting rid of 'Values' is that the poorly defined 'metrics' field. For example, ticket solved date, ticket ID are all not 'metrics' and it cannot be added as metrics.

That's why people are using 'attributes' as 'metrics'

    An inherent data structure problem.
