Our customers often want to see their Web Widget on actual pages as quickly as possible after setting it up and want to include the Web Widget in their Help Centers as well as other websites and web apps.
In response to these requests we have just made it even easier to embed the Web Widget in Zendesk Help Centers. Copying and pasting is no longer necessary. Now you can just toggle a switch to automatically add the Web Widget to the Help Center and auto-identify logged in users.
To take advantage of this feature, go to the Web Widget admin page, click the Setup tab and you'll see the toggle.
Note: If you already have the Chat widget on your Help Center and want to convert to using the Web Widget with Chat you can enable your existing Chat account in the Web Widget settings. To learn more, see "To configure your Widget" here.
You can also toggle off the Chat widget in your Help Center General Settings.
