Can we @mention team members in Inbox? Follow


Is it possible to @mention team members in Inbox, like we do in Support?


Yes, but the @mention feature functions a little bit differently in Inbox, than it does in Support.

If you @mention another team member, they'll still receive the pop-up notification in the interface if they're logged in at the time of the @mention. They will also get an email (whether they're logged in at the time or not) indicating that they've been mentioned on another conversation. However, they will not be added as a CC on that conversation. 

To @mention another team member in a conversation when entering your response

  1. Type “@ and select the appropriate team member from the drop-down.
  2. Click Send.
