Zendesk Talk: Easier management of numbers across Talk and Text Follow

We are rolling out improvements on Zendesk Talk making it easier to understand what the Voice, SMS and MMS capabilities are for your various numbers. Where the numbers allow it you can now enable a number for different channels.

For Talk

  • We are now showing the full capabilities of the numbers. You will know which of your voice capable numbers are also SMS capableZD_-_Agent.png
  • For those voice numbers that are SMS capable you will have the ability to enable that number for Text from within the configuration page for that number.

For Text

  • We are now showing the full capabilities of the numbers. You will know which of your SMS capable numbers are also capable of inbound MMS and/or Voice callsZD_-_Agent.png
  • For those Text numbers that are voice capable you will have the ability to enable that number for Talk from within the configuration page for that number.ZD_-_Agent.png
  • The ability to delete a Text number in the the Text admin pages.

    Would love the same info about my customer's phone numbers.  I can not tell if the number I have for my customer is capable of SMS or not.
