    Hi,

Quick question. When I check an article with an embedded video (youtube) as a not registered user I cannot see the videos preview. While as registered user everything works fine (the article is flagged as visible to all). There is a way to let them be visible to all?

    Thank you in advance.

Hi Luca! So sorry for the delayed reply. Is there any restriction or authentication requirement set on the video itself in YouTube? And just to be clear, where is the preview not loading - in the article itself, or somewhere else?

    Hi Madison,

don't worry. There isn't any restriction on the videos, and yes, the problem is in the article itself. Unregistered users cannot even see the windows where the videos are supposed to be.

Hope I explain it well :)

    Thank you

Hi Luca! Hmm, I'm sorry to hear that. I suspect that the issue lies within your YouTube permissions; however, just to be sure, have you enabled unsafe content?

    Hello everyone!

We have a few tutorial videos on youtube, but I noticed that when I viewed my article on mobile (from our application), the video is non-responsive (and thus I only could see half of the video, the right-side was cut off and required scrolling to see it).

    Is this expected behavior?

Hi Allison! I've actually read that YouTube's default embed code is not automatically responsive. You will likely need to add some HTML & CSS specifications to make sure the video player is adjusting on mobile. Here's one example of a blog I found describing one possible solution. Hope that helps!

Hi is it possible to have zendesk guide search the content/description text of a wistia video?

    Thanks Chris

Hey Chris! I don't believe there's any way for Help Center search to factor in Wistia attributes as part of locating search results. I'm checking with the Guide team to confirm.

    hello,

would it be possible to have an added youtube video respect a timestamp link?

    such as: https://youtu.be/VIDEOURL?t=1337

...where video playback would then start at the 't' position. this would for instance allow for longer videos to be segmented and linked to a specific related section. currently the t variable is ignored when adding video.

this can be solved by embedding code, however it would be easier to just be able to paste the link directly.

    thanks!
