Why am I missing Chat widget settings?
If your Zendesk Chat account is integrated with the Support tool, you’ll notice that some options may be missing on the Chat widget settings. This happens when the Contact Form and Help Center are enabled on your Support tool.
The Contact Form allows your customers to send their inquiries/concerns via ticket.
This article is a guide on how to make all the Chat Widget settings appear on the dashboard. Only the account owner and admins are able to change these settings.
- Access up your Zendesk Support account.
- On the left-hand side of the page, click Admin (gear icon), followed by Channels > Widget.
- Under Customization, turn off both the Contact form and Help Center options.
4. Lastly, scroll down to click Save and then reload/refresh your Chat dashboard to see the changes.
