I have a custom Insights report created that includes the value of single line text fields from my tickets. However not all of the content is returned. Why is some of the text omitted from my Insights report?
GoodData attributes are limited to 256 characters (see GoodData's Community post for more information).
This means that if any of your Insights reports include text fields with long content, only the first 256 characters will be returned in your report.
The following field types are affected by this limitation:
- Satisfaction comments (see Looking at satisfaction ratings with comments)
- Drop down ticket field values (see Organizing drop-down list options)
- Single line text fields (see Reporting on custom fields in Insights)
To obtain this data in a format that is not truncated, perform a full data export which includes all ticket properties (see Ticket export options for instruction on this task).
