    IMO using "units" is confusing and unnecessary.   Why not just be up front and charge your customers in USD?  You're just adding additional work for everyone involved to convert a unit into a currency.  Just tell customers up front what the per minute rate is or the per text rate is.

    Thanks for the feedback. Sorry to hear you find "units" confusing. They are an internal metric we use to log Talk/Text product usage, but I can see how they may be incorrectly interpreted as "minutes" or "texts". 

    All invoices for Zendesk Talk & Text contain the invoice amount in USD (or local currency equivalent). There is no need to convert the units into a currency, as this is done by default.

    The Usage Charges page on the Talk admin channel details all Zendesk Talk charges in USD (or local currency equivalent). 

    The Zendesk Talk pricing page and Zendesk Text pricing page provide up front information on the per minute rate of calls and the per SMS message rate.
