Can the Zendesk for Microsoft Integration be used to create tickets from emails with images embedded or attached in Microsoft Outlook?
At this time, the integration handles messages differently depending on the way the images are included in the message
- Message including only inline image - These inline images cannot be carried over into a ticket comment. To create tickets from messages with just inline images included from Microsoft Outlook, we encourage you to forward the email to a support address on your account.
- Message including only image attachments - The integration should be able to carry over these image attachments as attachments to the ticket provided they do not exceed the maximum attachment size limit.
- Message with both inline images and image attachments - The integration will treat the inline image as an attachment and carry it over as an attachment on the ticket, as well as the other original image attachments, as long as they are under the size limit (see above).
