Can a welcome email be sent to end-users who's profiles were created via Salesforce integration?
Yes, you can enable the Welcome email feature for end-user profiles created in your Zendesk via Salesforce. This feature can be enabled by one of the Salesforce admins in the Zendesk for Salesforce App. By default this functionality is disabled.
To enable welcome email for end-users created via Salesforce
- In Salesforce, select Zendesk for Salesforce from the menu in the upper-right.
- Click the Zendesk tab.
- Locate the User and Organization Sync Settings section and click Go to Mappings.
- Select a user pairing option from the Sync Pairing drop-down menu.
- Set the Send new user welcome email option to Yes.
