Why is the name of a user on Facebook different from the one I see in Zendesk?

    Some Asian languages like Chinese, Korean and Japanese reverse the given- and family name order.
    As far as I can tell, Facebook seems to compensate for this for non-Asian language users (that view Asian), but in Zendesk, Asian Facebook user's names may be reversed and this confused agents about how to properly address these users.

    Edit: I got some clarification on this issue from Zendesk Support:

    Long story short - Zendesk displays the requester name as [First name] [Last name], so as long as the user has filled that in correctly on Facebook, then it is also correct in Zendesk (correct in the western tradition of name ordering).
    What confuses the issue is that Facebook allows users to change the display order - so users may have opted to show their name as [Last name] [First name], but Zendesk will show that as [First name] [Last name].
