Multiple threads asking for this functionality since the launch of Multi-Brand support.  It would be great to get some inkling as to what the long-term plans are for addressing this critical need.

    Hey Dave -

Typically you won't see much in the way of product updates on KB articles or notes. We regularly update the Product Updates section and the relevant threads in the Product Feedback topic.  (For your request, I'd follow this thread.)

That being said, I can tell you that the Guide product team is working on something to solve this problem. We can't share specifics at this time, but they're highly aware of the requests and are actively working on development.

    Hi Sergio -

The Guide team is working on some functionality around reusable content, which doesn't copy content but does allow you to create content that you can publish to multiple Help Centers at the same time. It's not yet available, but the precursor pieces to that functionality are in early access.

Otherwise, your best option is to leverage the API to export content from your existing HC and then re-create it in your new one.

Do you have a rough ETA on the ability to publish to multiple Brands?  We are a current zendesk customer but we are using your product for another 30 days in pilot mode.  We are about to launch, however without this functionality it would be non scale-able for us to use your product for client support.

    Hi Seth,

the reusable content across brands is coming in Q2 as an EAP - so doesn't seem we can make it for you pilot deadline.

@Bogdan, Are there any specific month or any date by which we can start migrating categories, sections & articles from one help center to another.

This feature is more than necessary

People are waiting since 2 years for this development that enables you to copy Help Center content from one brand to another within Zendesk itself.

Is this some sort of scam? so that people have to opt for paid services outside Zendesk to migrate data using 3rd party tool.

Has anyone identified a 3rd party tool to accomplish copying content (categories, sections, article, article elements) from one HC to a totally separate instance HC.   Not just within brands within single instance

    Hey Christopher,

It looks like you haven't received a response on this question. You may want to take a look at our App Marketplace to see if there's a 3rd party integration available.

Perhaps other users can jump in here as well to offer up some guidance.

    Cheers!

    I have used https://appw.import2.com/  successfully.

It is a seemingly very small software company but they are very helpful and it does work.  It can be a little tricky to get configured but they will assist you in doing so.  It obviously costs money to use for automation or any type of real volume but I do think it is worth it in terms of functionality.

We use brands and so the workflow for a new brand creation is to export all articles from one Master into any newly created child brands.  If you pay that company you can setup an auto export/import to update all articles across all brands.  Honestly to me Zendesk Brands is pretty useless without this functionality.

Is there at least a way to copy our Guide from production to our sandbox? We'd like to run some experiments on the Guide in our sandbox, but would rather not have to copy everything by hand.

We had to build our own cloud based solution to replicate one of our help centers to 3 other sites, including Sandbox.  Import2 is lacking in many ways after reviewing their tool.   A significant amount of research and testing went into the solution to figure out what the Zendesk Rest APIs were capable of and learning what not to do when creating articles (i.e. copy\paste images).   We addressed the majority of replication issues and added exception reporting that we use to correct issues that the Rest APIs don't address.   Zendesk offered a one time solution for $6,000 based on our article volume and replicating to 2 sites but I can't imagine the same effort and care (customization) would have been implemented, and their solution can only be run once!  Sometimes it's worth the investment to build your own solution.

Unfortunately we won't be in a position to offer the solution to other Zendesk customers but maybe in the future.
