What are the Zendesk plan requirements for CTI integrations?
When setting up a CTI integration such as; 8x8, RingCentral or Talk Desk, a Zendesk Talk Partner Edition plan is required. Talk Partner Edition is a Zendesk Talk plan that allows integrations to access the Talk API that is required for setting up the CTI integration.
You can download CTI integration app from our Apps Marketplace, a Talk Partner Edition trial is automatically enabled when you first trigger the API. Placing a call from the integration will trigger the API. Once the API has been trigged you will be able to test the integration for up to 30 days, after which the trial will expire and you will be required to start a paid Talk Partner Edition plan.
