We are currently investigating a delay in Chats appearing in the Chat history tab as well as transcripts appending to tickets.
During this incident, there was a delay in Chats appearing in the Chat history tab as well as transcripts appending to tickets. The incident was caused by an error thrown by the chat routing service which returned a 404 error. This error, caused all events on this particular partition to be blocked from being consumed and CRS continuously retrying with a 0.5 second delay. A fix was deployed to handle the error and process capacity was increased to resolve the issue and work through the backlog of chat transcripts. In order to prevent this from happening again in the future, we will adding exception handling for these types of events.
