    @Bill,

Yes, I do! I can't find the string either. I think it was about Good Data.

If I remember right, the solution was using a Light Agent because they do (did?) have access to those reports once they "activate" it by accessing Insights the first time.  After that, their name will be available to you in the drop down when you are emailing reports to users (aka Agents).

    I hope this makes sense.

@Heather  Thanks for the info. I thought it had to do with a special user that only ZD could create for you to allow reports to be visible via link that you could post on a site outside of ZD.  Maybe it was more wishful thinking that actual real?  ;)

Ohhhhh yes—- you are correct. I remember I was explaining we were using Rise Vision to do a big&Visual monitor to display several things including an Insights dashboard and it kept logging us out. Grrr where is that post???

    Hi,

Is it possible to send a report bi-weekly from a specific date?

Example, I want to send a report from on Aug 15 for Aug 1 -14 created tickets , then the next report will  be on Aug 31, for tickets created from Aug 15-30. Then this will be the same moving forward...

    Thanks, Albert

Is there a way to download 2 tabs in a dashboard into 1 PDF?

What are the possibilities to upload an existing report or part of dashboard to a SharePoint page as an Excel format every first day of the month?

    HI,

Is it possible to send the scheduled reports to non-agents of Zendesk?

    Like external person/email?

    Thanks,

    Albert

@Albert - Yes! Just click the Scheduler icon when in Insights and select "Add recipients or define custom subject and message"

    Hi Heather,

The report I want to send is the one from GoodData. These are reports under "My Reports"

    Thanks,

    Albert

Was able to share a dashboard with the report I created. Basic report of how many tickets agents were working on per day for about 10 days. My problem is this, the report is to wide so there is a slider to see all the agents names (12 total). So when it gets shared as a PDF it cuts off half of the report.

How do I fix this? I can't seem to find any way to do this. Thanks in advance!

    Hi Michael,

If you're sharing your reports as a PDF document then this is actually expected behavior and you'll most likely need to separate your attributes between two separate reports so there's no scrolling necessary.

The other option if you're exporting for agents on the account is to export the individual reports as CSV or an Excel document as shown in the screenshot I've attached below:

    I hope this helps!

Thanks Brett. I will give this a try to see if that works. I have been trying to find a way to get the info sent so this may be best option for now. Was hoping it would give me some kind of flexibility to force the report to fit but maybe some day.

    Thanks.

    Hi All,

Is it possible to transfer ownership of insight reports/dashboards from an employee who no longer works here but was the creator/owner of the insight reports?

I can't seem to find a way to transfer ownership to myself or someone else on my team and are resorting to leaving the former employee's accounts active so that we can log in and edit/share insight reports to others.

    Help please!

    Thank you

    Hi Alvin!

What you'll want to do is log in to the account of the user who authored the reports/dashboards and then follow these steps:

    1. Click the Reporting icon in the agent interface, then open the Insights tab.
    2. Click the GoodData link in the upper right corner.
    3. Select Reports from the header.
    4. Select the folder My Reports from the left hand side.
    5. Choose Select all from the top of the report list.
    6. Select Permissions.
    7. Check the Visible to all users box.
    8. Select Save Permissions.

Let us know if you have any further questions on this.

    Hi Nicole,

Thank you for your reply. However, this is not what we are trying to do. Is it possible to maintain selective permissions sharing? We do not want to make all insight reports visible as they are specific per each BPO vendor we use.

The reports are owned/created by a former employee. I would like to transfer ownership directly to myself so that I can manage permissions with my account. Is there a way to do this and maintain selective sharing permissions?

    Thank you

Hi Alvin, in that case, our suggestion would be to perform the steps Nicole mentioned and make a copy or duplicate of the reports you need. Then, you can set the visibility on the new copy and simply delete the original.
