By default, the regular, desktop website layout is used on mobile devices. However, you can enable a mobile layout that better works with your devices.

Note: If you're using the mobile-adaptive Copenhagen theme, enabling a mobile version is not recommended, or necessary.

To use the mobile layout on devices

  1. In the Help Center, click General in the top menu bar, then select Help Center settings.

  2. On the settings page, select the Mobile Layout option.
  3. Click Update.

You can make quick changes to the design of the mobile layout. For example, you can change the logo and header color.

To customize the mobile layout

  1. In the Help Center, click General in the top menu bar, then select Help Center settings.
  2. Set the options in the Mobile branding section of the sidebar:
    • Logo allows you to specify an image to appear as the logo on the mobile site. Click Change to browse to and select the new image. See Uploading and using your own assets in the article Customizing your Help Center for information on making your own images available for the Help Center.
    • Color allows you to select the header color for the mobile site. Click the hexadecimal number and use the color picker to choose a new header color, or enter a new hexadecimal number.

      Changes to these settings appear in the Preview at the top of Mobile branding section.

  3. When you're satisfied with the changes, click Publish changes at the top of the sidebar.

    The changes are applied to the mobile version of the Help Center.

  4. Click Close to leave Preview mode.
