    I see v1.09. Is it 1.09 or 3?

I too see v1.09 in our JIRA instance.

So you are dropping V2 support without ever giving us a way to automatically move the V2 tickets to V3 tickets?

Version: 1.0.9 is the only add-on listed in the Jira Marketplace.

v3 turns out is on the Zendesk side. That was poorly communicated. That's installed after the Jira plugin is connected. AFAIK the 1.09 is the correct version on the Jira side.

There isn't a v3 version. The cloud version display 0.714 in existing version and in ZD marketplace then you click on the link to look at it and on-premise version states version 1.0

So how do you know which version is correct for what. If we are using Jira On Demand does that mean you install another instance of it and reconnecto to Jira using that then reshare all your tickets. Then if you reshare how do you know which connector you are sharing with...

Instructions on both sides are not clear

@all, in the Marketplace, V3 is listed as JIRA OnDemand. V2 is listed as JIRA OnPremise. Here is a screenshot for reference: http://imgur.com/87HyHn6

If you're seeing version 0.714 then you have V3 installed. If you're seeing version 1.0.9 then you have V2 installed.

You'll see V2 and V3 referenced in our documentation here: https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/203660196-Setting-up-Zendesk-for-JIRA-OnDemand-integration?preview%5Btheme_id%5D=w1pFXMkS

    @all,

Our Product Manager just updated this document with some clearer instructions for determining which JIRA integration you're using. Please let us know if you have any more questions - sorry about the confusion!

@Madison, you already have V3 installed so you should be all set.

Ok, I forgot to mention that the top Jira app is enabled and the button one is disabled. Is that a problem? Should it be the other way around or are they both version 3? I received an email saying that we have both versions installed.

@Madison, both apps in your screenshot are V3, except one of them is deactivated. The one that is not deactivated is the correct version and is not being deprecated.

Aw ok. Thank you for your response! I was freaking out a little, so why did we get an email about switching to v3 if we already have it?

Messages are not getting sent from Zendesk to JIRA or the other way round with the new version. Did I mess up some settings?

With V3 you have to specifically send things across. For example entering a comment in Jira stays in Jira. You use the "Notify Zendesk" button and enter your comment. This will both enter the comment into Jira and send it to Zendesk. There is also a Notify Jira box on the Zendesk side, to send a message from Zendesk to Jira. (Though this one does not also add the comment to the Zendesk message list.)

Hey Bruce! Thanks for hopping in here! :)

When you are used to V2, that one is not intuitive. (And too many of our Devs still don't do it right when coming from Jira.)

Right. Its unnecessary extra step, hoping that everyone would do it right. There should have been an option to enable it by default.

@all, we have had another update from Atlassian that their timeline has been pushed back again and they are now targeting Monday, August 10.

@all, apologies for the continued delay. We have been informed that the timeline has been pushed again and Atlassian are now targeting Monday, August 17.

"We are aware that some customers may be using our v2 and v3 integrations together in order to support linking their Zendesk to multiple JIRA Cloud accounts or linking a single JIRA Cloud account to multiple Zendesk accounts. With the removal of the v2 integration from JIRA Cloud, this configuration is no longer supported."

As a CM, I am seriously disappointed with this decision. I know it's been a while, but we didnt have the need to have a JIRA integration until now. We outsource our development team, and they obviously support other teams aside from us. Now we cannot push to their JIRA instance because of this limitation.

    Hey Andrea!

Thanks for sharing your concerns on this. I'm going to see about getting somebody to follow-up with you about it.

    Hi Andrea

Totally hear your frustration, however we were completely 100% dependent of Atlassian on this. It was their decision and we didn't have a say in it.

Good news is that you'll hear from me soon on JIRA and we're going to be investing more in it soon. The most voted feature requests will start getting considered more seriously.

Sorry about the pain this is causing Andrea
